The prestigious SAVE Value Summit, a global platform uniting industry leaders, policymakers, academia, and the international Value Engineering community, is being hosted in India for the very first time outside North America. This landmark event, organized in collaboration with SAVE International and the Indian Value Engineering Society (INVEST), marks a significant milestone in advancing the methodology worldwide.
We are honored to announce that Hon’ble Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India will grace the summit with his inspirational presence and impactful address.
Under Shri Nitin Gadkari’s leadership, India’s National Highway network has grown by about 60%—from nearly 91,000 km in 2014 to around 1.46 lakh km in 2024. He introduced the Vehicle Scrappage Policy (effective April 2022) to retire unfit vehicles and cut pollution, and revolutionized tolling by making FASTag mandatory, saving time and fuel for commuters. In 2025, he launched a FASTag Annual Pass priced at ₹3,000, valid for one year or toll crossings, helping the private car users. His emphasis on sustainable construction with recycled materials, and promotion of electric mobility, alternative fuels, and green energy reflects his vision of combining rapid infrastructure growth with environmental responsibility.
The 2025 SAVE Value Summit will shine with the energy of his vision. His presence and keynote address will inspire the global Value Engineering community to accelerate the evolution of the discipline and chart new frontiers.

- Started his career more than 3 decades ago with Maruti Suzuki India Limited
- Worked in Supply Chain as vertical head and handled over 10 Bn $ and he has also headed the Production as Plant Head of Gurgaon Vehicle Plant.
- He was instrumental in setting up the Supply chain of Diesel Engine parts through World Wide Purchasing along with FIAT & General Motors and ensured deep localization.
- Involved in setting up of Joint Venture in India with companies from Italy, France and Japan for introduction of Diesel ECU, new technology projects like the AMT, Plastic Fuel tanks and High tensile technology in Sheet metal.
